I did next to nothing this week....
I did my normal Monday stuff then took a trip out to Jake', where he insisted I get his crossbow and go hunting. I haven't yet mainly because of the rain and wind being the wrong direction. I'm hoping to get out Monday or Tuesday, the wind looks to be in the right direction. Oh yeah I also watched the Vikings just roll over to the Lions.....😢
Tuesday I took a buddy to another buddies place to hunt dove. I've never hunted them so late in the season, but man did he have dove. I saw more dove in a couple hours then I had all early season. After learning the field and where they wanted to be it was time to go. We got a couple shots but connected with nothing but air.
Wednesday I tinkered around the house a little. I also went to my neighbors and scrubbed down the kayak so he can put it away clean. Then just became a couch potato for the rest of the day.
I've almost gotten more done today than any other... I did my normal Thursday stuff and this.....
That's my 2023 buck that I did into a European mount, that was 2 tries in one.... first and last.
Not sure how much I like it yet, it might be too close? I'm going to leave it for a while and see if it grows on me.
