Ainkzty

That's the best way to describe the way I've been feeling the last couple of weeks.  I have had so much to get done and so little time to do it in.
With the end of the fishing season, I had to get my electric trolling motor off the boat and in for some work. I got that done, but have yet to get the boat winterized. I relaxed all the drags on all my reels and put plastic bags over them to keep the dust out. I picked up a flat bottom boat for decoy hauling and had to get that ready and into the trailer, which has yet to be organized with the wheeler, boat, and decoys in it. Oh yeah, and speaking of the trailer I have all the plugs, electric brake, and back up camera stuff to go on the truck and that's all still sitting in a box in the living room.
I had to get some banking taken care of, the hole in the mudroom ceiling still isn't fixed (I don't want to buy a whole sheet of drywall when I only need a small portion). I had to update my Garmin for the trip home, my SX2 (waterfowl shotgun) is still in pieces, I have all the replacement parts on it from sure cycle however, when I cleaned the threads I dissolved the trigger guard buffer with the solvent. So I had to order a new one, yeah I also had to get my mail stopped. I switched phones so I had to spend an hour at T-Mobile switching over all my contacts. Yes, an hour, because of the age of my old phone they couldn't just drop them in the new phone they had to do them one by one. I have to order some new crossbow bolts but won't be able to do that 'til I get back from vacation. I did order a new layout blind that should get here before I go on vacation if it doesn't I'll have to ask my neighbor to keep an eye on for it. I got my lawn mowed yesterday and dishes washed today, I'll be eating leftovers that are in the freezer this week, so I'll have to do dishes again before I go. I had to pack everything I'm taking home and get out my poles to hopefully stretch a line while on vacation, just generally get ready to be gone for a couple weeks.
And to top it all off here it is the second week of September and I have yet to squeeze a trigger or smell the sweet smell of gun powder. Since I have lived here and knew about the dove opener and then the early season goose I have never missed out on an entire week let alone 2 weeks.

Is it time for vacation yet?????
