Yep to all concerned it is the beginning of a new season. FISHING..... since last season I've stockpiled many new lures and cannot wait to try them out.
I've been casting up on the big pond the past 2 weeks to no avail. The first week we had alot of rain and the water was really muddy and this week the sun didn't poke out once. Needless to say I have yet to catch a fish. So not a great start on the new season, but it has begun. I'm going to get the boat out next week and try and stretch my line with some pike.
The week after that is the camping trip interrupted with some turkey hunting so sadly there will be no fishing, however I'll be hunting so.... YEAH.
